Предлоги места и движения.
При изучении предлогов,их нельзя переводить с английского на русский буквально.<< in >> как предлог места означает положение в пределах ограниченого пространства:
I'm in the classroom - Я в классе.
He's in the street - Он на улице.Русский предлог ,,в,, может быть переведён на английский разными предлогами.
Они идут в школу.- The are going to school.
Они в аудитории.- They are in the classroom.
Они входят в аудиторию.- They are coming into the classroom.

Предлог ,,at,, употребляется ,кроме того,кога указывается место,где совершается какое либо действие или процесс:
They are at school.
He worlds at the factory.
We are at the theatre.
They are at the lesson.
he is at work.
She is at home.
Если имеется в виду помещение,то употребляется предлог ,,in,,
The meeting took place in the theatre.
